Title: Technician
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Minneapolis MN 55432
Shift: 1st Shift
Role Summary
Technician performs advanced technical work across electronic mechanical electromechanical and optical systems. This role includes troubleshooting calibration testing and supporting engineering and production activities with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Perform construction troubleshooting calibration adjustment and testing of equipment components or systems
Work from schematics engineering drawings verbal directions and written instructions
Operate lab and production test equipment
Conduct tests and report data in required formats
Perform calibration and alignment checks and make necessary adjustments or component replacements
Prepare required compounds and solutions
Gather maintain and manipulate technical data using standard formulas and procedures
Perform detailed mathematical calculations
Support production maintenance operations safety testing and product/process improvement
Run minor projects including test execution data interpretation and report preparation
Provide guidance and training to junior technicians
Autonomy & Impact
Works under limited supervision as a seasoned independent contributor
Handles non-routine technical tasks requiring judgment
Proposes solutions and improvements for supervisor review
May have ownership of small technical projects
Innovation & Complexity
Resolves general technical issues requiring analysis and problem-solving
Supports continuous improvement of work processes
Interprets and evaluates testing results
Communication
Collaborates primarily with internal teams
Provides and gathers technical information related to assigned work
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant technical experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational or technical education/certification may be required
Broad knowledge of operational systems techniques and practices
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Basic electronics knowledge
Experience in testing and data analysis
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Access PowerPoint)
Experience with SAP systems
Familiarity with Windows operating environments
