Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and develop an accounting team of 10 ensuring accuracy consistency and high-quality client deliverables.
- Review and sign off on financial statements reconciliations and related technical output.
- Redesign and improve internal accounting processes systems adoption and workflow efficiency.
- Interpret large datasets and blockchain-based financial information ensuring proper integration and accurate reporting across multiple clients.
- Build reporting frameworks strengthen controls and standardize accounting processes across teams.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification (essential).
- At least 5 years post-articles experience ideally in a Financial Controller / Finance Manager role.
- Solid background in digital assets crypto blockchain or similar high-data technical environments.
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements involving crypto transactions.
- Strong track record managing and mentoring accounting teams.
- Experience working with multi-entity and multi-client ERP setups.
- Advanced proficiency with digital asset accounting tools (e.g. Cryptio Tres and Entendre).
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and systems integration.
- High technical accuracy strong analytical ability and confidence handling large datasets.
- Must have direct experience with crypto transactions and digital-asset technical accounting.
