Job Summary

IFRS SEC and PCAOB auditing standards
Review client attest engagements which include planning executing directing and reviewing financial statements within a CPA firm in USA
Client Advisory Services within a CPA firm in USA
Experience auditing any 3 or more from these industry clients: Manufacturing and amp; Wholesale Entertainment Government Auditing / Single Audit HUD Audits Financial Services / Broker-Dealers CIRA (Common Interest Realty Associations) Nonprofit Accounting Employee Benefit Plans (EBP Audits Real Estate Construction
Responsibilities
This position is remote with up to 15% travel based on the needs of the clients and business. Candidates must be based in the U.S. and nbsp;
and nbsp;
- Review client attest engagements which include planning executing directing and reviewing financial statements
- Assist with Internal Inspections on an annual basis
- Stay up to date on generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement presentation
- Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques
- Assist with various training projects provided during the year
- Supervise train and mentor associates and interns on the attest process
- Research and analyze financial statements and related attest issues
- Develop a network of potential referral sources and identify opportunities to sell additional Prager Metis services
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary

Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement- Bachelors Degree with major in Accounting or comparable subject
- Masters Degree highly preferred
- CPA License required
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience of public accounting financial statement audits and amp; SAARS engagements
- A thorough understanding of GAAP GAAS SSARs SSAEs and Statutory Accounting Principles
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to meet deadlines and work on time sensitive engagements
- Knowledge of SEC and PCAOB auditing standards a plus
