Requirements:
- Manages the development of new products and systems that meet company standards and process requirements by applying knowledge of engineering principles.
- Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal specifications and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
- Designs modifications and component substitutions in equipment as changes become necessary to meet performance specifications and customer requirements.
- Supervises the incorporation of changes to part drawings.
- Analyze product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine mechanical designs.
- Develops cross-functional communication skills in person writing and via telephone/email.
- Perform design reviews with customers and communicate with vendors as needed.
Desired Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Bachelors Engineering program
- Mechanical aptitude to understand packaging automation and company product desired
- Must be detail oriented and follow through until projects are completed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Experience using a CAD program required (AutoCAD experience desired but not required)
- Ability to read analyze and understand engineering drawings
- Flexible in work functions and duties
- Strong team player skills and positive attitude are required
