Job Summary

Job Summary: Milling Operator

The Milling Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer wages starting at $21.50 per hour. AdditionalPaid Relief Days $1000 SIGN ON BONUS(Paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment) and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Set up and operate mills and controller
Milling rolls to customer blueprint specification
Inspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprint
Reporting all deviations from customer blueprint specifications
Perform other department duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong math skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Previous CNCmachining experience preferred
Must be able to work any shift

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous milling experience required
Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
Manufacturing environment with noise dust and vibration
