About the opportunity
- UWA Technology enables teaching research and administration by providing secure reliable and innovative digital infrastructure and services.
- The Cyber Security Operations role focuses on monitoring analyzing and responding to threats conducting proactive threat hunting and managing vulnerabilities.
- Responsibilities include incident response malware analysis collaboration with IT teams and maintaining awareness of evolving cyber threats.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in information or cyber security.
- Demonstrated experience in security operations including monitoring analysis and incident response.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms including the ability to write or modify simple detection queries.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender or similar endpoint protection and response technologies.
- Broad understanding of infrastructure platform and cloud technologies.
Note: A current National Police Clearance Certificate will be required by the successful applicant.
