Shift Details
Shift Type: Night Shift
Schedule: Tuesday Thursday & Friday
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Additional Requirements:
On-call: 2 times per month
Floating: As needed between sites in Gastonia and Belmont
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CT Technician to join a dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
Prepare and position patients properly for CT examinations.
Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently and safely.
Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Provide patient care communication and support throughout the imaging process.
Float to nearby locations as required.
Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of CT experience in a clinical setting (preferred/required depending on facility needs).
Active ARRT Certification (CT).
Current State Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable).
BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
Strong understanding of imaging protocols radiation safety standards and patient-care practices.
