North Andover Public Schools in conjunction with The Power of Place through Essex County Learning Community would like to create a unified process for welcoming new families to the district.The purpose of this application is to recruit 2 Family Orientation Leaders at each school to contribute to the planning of a district-wide process for welcoming new families to the district.
Family Orientation Leaders
Starts Winter 2025 | The district is looking for two Family Orientation Leaders per school to help form the district-wide process for welcoming new families to the district starting in the 2026 school year. The staff who apply interview and get accepted for this position will receive $40/hr with a maximum of 3 hours.
The job responsibilities are as follows: - Apply cultural-responsiveness inclusion practices and community-building strategies.
- Attend a 6-hour ECLC conference on Tuesday 1/27 in Beverly MA from 9:00-3:00 to develop a district-wide process.
- Work collaboratively with building leadership to pilot a district-wide family orientation process in spring 2026.
- Provide feedback to finalize the district-wide process for the 26-27 school year.
