Program Finance Intern

i3 has a Summer 2026 internship opportunity for a Program Finance Intern to be located at our Corporate Office in Huntsville AL.

The Intern will provide support to the Program Finance staff performing duties to include:

• Auditing employee travel voucher submissions and setting up labor categories and rates in accounting systems.
• Acts as a liaison between operations and other administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors vendors and customers as required.
• Administrative duties such as resume input into preferred format labor hour input into vendor system and travel cost research for expense authorizations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field at an accredited college/university during (Summer 2026) or continuing an undergraduate or graduate degree program the following semester (Fall 2026) at the time of the internship.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required to fill this requirement.
• Must possess strong analytic skills excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to comprehend verbal instructions.
• Must be a hardworking team player with the ability to multi-task handle multiple deadlines and self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office tools is required.
