Job Summary
Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring aFinish Turn Operatorfor our operation in New Castle PA. The Finish Turn Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a CNC lathe to machine our forged steel rolls.
Competitive:wage $20.50/hr commensurate with experiencebenefit/insurance package 8 paid holidays 401K Paid Time Off (PTO) Additional Paid Relief Days$1000 SIGN ON BONUS andthis position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lathe and controller
- Inspect forging/roll; report any deviation from specification
- Machine forging/roll to specification
- Preventative maintenance on lathe
- Perform other department duties as assigned
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs occasionally throughout shift
- Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
- Manufacturing environment with noise dust and vibration
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC or machining experiencerequired
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
- Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
- Good math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Must be able to pass criminal background checkdrug screen and physical.
