Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the dean the program coordinator is responsible for teaching courses designing and developing curriculum hiring and evaluating adjunct personnel evaluating student performance and advising students. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with educational and administrative software. The ability to work collaboratively as part of an academic support team is essential. Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a masters degree in counseling education humanities social science or closely related field OR a masters degree with at least 18 graduate hours in one of these disciplines. Three (3) years of progressively responsible work is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with high-risk student populations and first-generation college students is also preferred. Flexibility in responding to students needs and adapting to varied schedules is important. Candidates should be able to function effectively in an environment characterized by continual changes in information
