This position includes teaching several high school classes and the potential to supportintervention needs. Teaching responsibilities will vary and could include Geometry Algebra II FinancialLiteracy Pre-Calculus Calculus Statistics and/or Financial Literacy. Intervention support whereneeded will focus on providing individual and small group instruction based on student need and workin collaboration with others in the department. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding ofmathematical concepts and instructional practices and demonstrated experience working withneurodiverse learners in a classroom seek an enthusiastic open-minded teacher with agrowth mindset to join our team of dedicated teachers. The ideal candidate will be a strongcollaborative team member who is committed to continuing working on their teaching practice throughprofessional development both individually and as a team. They should be able to listen to bothstudents and colleagues with the goal of understanding others ideas with an emphasis on :Bachelor degree and has a current or is eligible for a Vermont Teaching License with appropriateendorsement. Prior experience in teaching mathematics is preferred particularly at the secondary Duties and Responsibilities: Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree in Education preferred or commensurate lived experiencewith qualifications Proficient technology skills Excellent collaboration and behavior management skills Understanding of experience in and commitment to a Multi-Tiered System of Support Ability to promote and maintain positive relationships with students colleagues and families Confident in ones ability to manage student intervention plans Ability to regularly analyze data and monitor student progress Collaboratively plan and coordinate instruction with Special Education staff Interest willingness and/or experience integrating and advancing practices of diversity equityand inclusionWe encourage women people of the global majority LGBTQIA individuals people with disabilitiesforeign-born residents older members of society and individuals from diverse lived experiences andbackgrounds to certified teacher salary range click here.
