The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) Division of Administrative Services (DAS) is recruiting for anAccounting Technician 2 in our Revenue Section.
This position is in the General Government Bargaining Unit (GGU)at a range 14.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:
As an Accounting Technician 2 for the Division of Administrative Services (DAS) Revenue Section you would play a crucial role in managing and reporting reimbursable revenues for the Veterans Services budget and Departmental Reimbursable Services Agreements ensuring accurate financial transactions compliance with applicable regulations and timely financial reporting to support the financial integrity and accountability of the division.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:
The Accounting Technician 2 is part of a close-knit five-person revenue collection team within DAS working in a friendly dedicated office environment located in Auke Bay at the Joint Use Facility which offers an attractive and convenient setting with an alternate workweek schedule (off every other Friday) ample parking scenic trails for outdoor breaks and a no-cost on-site fitness center promoting a healthy work-life balance and team collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of entry technical level accounting or clerical bookkeeping experience.
Substitutions:
Certification as an Accounting Technician from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience.
Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month) if it includes at least 6 semester/8 quarter hours in Accounting.
