Maintenance Lead (Bismarck Campus)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a friendly energetic individual to join the Evangel team and support our ministries by serving on the Facilities Team and taking the lead on maintenance duties. This role helps ensure our facilities are welcoming safe and functioning at their best so we can continue accomplishing the vision ahead of us.

This opening may be full-time or part-time depending on the right candidates skills experience and availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Facility Repairs & Projects: Perform and oversee routine repairs including electrical plumbing and mechanical systems ensuring the campus remains operational and safe. As well complete basic construction projects to help enhance spaces and make them more functional.
• Preventive Maintenance Scheduling: Maintain preventive maintenance schedule for HVAC electrical and plumbing systems ensuring long-term efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee Grounds & Snow Removal: Manage and coordinate snow removal during the winter months ensuring all walkways parking lots and outdoor areas are clear and safe for church members and visitors. Summers keep weeds controlled bushes and shrubs taken care of. Communicating with our contracted contractor for this as well. Along with any of it needed to be done by us personally.
• Oversee Church Van Fleet: Manage the maintenance and scheduling of the church van fleet ensuring regular service inspections and compliance with safety standards.
• Oversee Event Setup and Teardown: Oversee the calendar and coordinate with the custodial team to ensure smooth setup teardown and cleanup for ministry and Joyhouse Events and weekly staff needs coordinating equipment and tech.
• Daily Cleaning Support: Provide assistance with some of the daily and weekly cleaning needs.
  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• General experience in trade skills preferred (carpentry plumbing electrical maintenance etc.)
