Job Summary
Cleaning
- Cleaning of floors of all office plant containers and plant power house.
- Dusting of all office services and floor.
- Cleaning of equipment for corrosion control.
- Cleaning of assorted engine parts during preventive maintenance services.
- Boiler wet cleaning.
- Cleaning of oily equipment eg separators ETP.
- Spillage control and cleaning.
- Routine Cleaning of the engine block.
- Routine cleaning of engine sump.
- Evacuation of carbon from the boiler waste pit.
Corrosion Control
- Participate in corrosion control of the plant facility including cleaning scrubbing and painting.
Environmental management
- Through weed control e.g. in the substation and the plant in general
- Cleaning of wastewater /stormwater trenches
- Report of any pest vermin within the plant facilities.
Any Other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- O Level Certificate
- 2 years experience in industrial cleaning painting preferably in an industrial setup.
- Physical Capacity to do strenuous work and work at height and enclosed spaces.
