DoubleTree Abilene Downtown Convention Center is scheduled to open Summer of 2023. The new DoubleTree by Hilton will bring 200 guest rooms 17000 sq ft of meeting space a 3-Meal Restaurant Lounge/Bar and much more!
We are conveniently located across the street from the convention center in downtown Abilene among restaurants and businesses. The Adamson-Spaulding Storybook Garden is a block away and the Grace and Frontier Texas museums are within a mile. Abilene Zoo is only four miles from our front door and were just a 10-minute drive from the regional airport. We offer a pool and fitness center.
The ideal candidate has full availability a minimum of 2 years experience in a housekeeping management role has a passion for the hospitality industry and guests and is ready to dive in and assist the team in anything that comes their way.

What will I be doing
As a Housekeeping Manager you would be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include but not limited to maintaining cleanliness service and product quality standards of guest rooms public spaces restrooms offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
- Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage daily systems use and management cost controls and overall profitability systems use and management budgeting and forecasting department management policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
- Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include but not limited to providing supervision conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Oversee and conduct room inspections
- Recruit interview and train team members
