The University of Miami Health System Division of Nephrology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty at open rank (Assistant Associate or Full Professor). We seek individuals with demonstrated excellence in clinical care teaching and research in nephrology.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive care for nephrology patients in outpatient clinics and dialysis units
- Participating in inpatient consult with services in the continuity clinics across multiple hospitals including Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospital
- Weekend evening and holiday on-call coverage proportionate to other faculty
- Active involvement in educational programs including teaching fellows residents and medical students in clinics inpatient settings dialysis units and conferences
- Engagement in scholarly activities and contributions to the academic mission of the division

Qualifications:
- MD Degree with completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Internship and Residency
- Completed a 2-year ACGME-accredited Nephrology Fellowship
- ABMS Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply (must have license prior to credentialing)
- Valid DEA licensure
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Commitment to excellence in patient care education and academic service
