Job Summary
2025-2026 Medically Fragile Special Needs Nurse

This position begins as soon as possible.
Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide one-to-one medical support for a student with special needs. This position delivers care as outlined in the students individualized health plan and physician orders including monitoring oxygen levels managing and suctioning a tracheotomy tube and overseeing gastrointestinal tube needs. The nurse will support the student throughout the school dayin the classroom and during van transportation if required. This role is essential in ensuring the students safety comfort and ability to access their educational environment. Maintaining professional nursing standards the Nurse Practice Act and all applicable state and local regulations is a must.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree preferred
- Certification: Nebraska DHHS Registered Nurse Licence & Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Permit.
- Experience: 5 years nursing experience preferred
