The Lecturer/Senior lecturer will have qualifications as a health professional recognised in Australia. The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will make a significant contribution to educational excellence in the School of Health Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The School of Health Sciences teaches health professional programs across the disciplines of Exercise Nutrition and Dietetics Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.
This position will teach across the disciplines into all health professional programs specifically leading the development of our students in professionalism innovation in healthcare and developing their careers across a broad scope of practice settings.
This role will report to the Discipline Lead most relevant to their professional practice. This position has no direct reports however will collaborate with all disciplines to enhance interprofessional education within the Faculty. UNSWs Education Focused roles (EF) enable academics to specialise in education and devote their time to delivering high-quality teaching and pursuing initiatives to enhance the educational experience of our students. Those who are appointed to this prestigious specialisation will be expected to successfully drive educational excellence within the universitys teaching and learning communities.
