Position Purpose
Receives checks and stocks all incoming supplies. Inventories puts up and distributes supplies equipment and mail
What you will do
Properly identify and mark all patient charge items using stickers or cards
Deliver medical surgical supplies on demand supplies and STATs as assigned
Keep accurate records on all storeroom transactions for which he/she may be responsible
Accurately inventory all assigned areas and commodities to maintain established par levels
Monitor supplies in various nursing departments
Ensure rotation of stock in all assigned departments and the storeroom
Transport supplies mail etc. between and within both facilities
Minimum Qualifications
High school or GED equivalent for regularly scheduled positions
One year storeroom or related experience
Must be able to communicate in English
Ability to operate all appropriate material handling equipment and use or learn to use the departments computerized system
Position Highlights and Benefits
Per diem current needs are up to 40hrs days shift including weekends
