Job Summary
A Lawn Health Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving the health of lawns by applying fertilizers pesticides and other treatments to ensure optimal growth and disease prevention. They assess lawn conditions diagnose issues like pests or nutrient deficiencies and implement appropriate solutions. The technician operates and maintains lawn care equipment follows safety guidelines and ensures that all treatments are applied according to industry standards and customer specifications. Strong knowledge of lawn care attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are key to this role.
A Lawn Health Technician typically requires experience in lawn care and a strong understanding of lawn health practices including fertilization pest control aeration and disease management. Certifications in lawn care or pest control are often preferred. The role requires the ability to safely operate lawn care equipment and apply chemicals following safety protocols. Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and treat lawn issues are essential. Good communication skills are important for interacting with clients and reporting on lawn conditions. A valid drivers license and physical stamina are also often required.
