Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Patient Care Associate to support nurses and provide high-quality patient-centered care in a Specialty Service unit. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living needs performing basic clinical tasks maintaining a safe environment and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
Obtain/document vital signs and pain levels.
Assist with ADLs: bathing feeding toileting mobility and orientation.
Perform specimen collection venipuncture EKGs compression device setup and skin integrity care.
Support dietary needs and conduct purposeful rounding.
Follow isolation precautions and provide 1:1 safety observation when needed.
Maintain clean and safe patient rooms; report equipment or facility issues.
Respond to call lights assist visitors answer phones and support patient communication.
Transport patients specimens and unit materials as required.
Assist with unit clean-ups discharge preparation supplies and equipment care.
Complete required documentation and additional assigned tasks.
