Position: Assistant Coach Jenks Wrestling Club
Reports to: Director of Community Education and Assistant Director Athletics Community Education
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Previous success in an assigned coaching position is preferred but not required.
- Extensive knowledge skills and ability in the strategy and technology of the sport.
- Experience interacting with student athletes parents and assistant coaches through deliberate positive interactions.
- Ability to serve as an effective role model for student athletes and represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board and Jenks Community Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: Assist with all aspects of student-athlete development and performance of the wrestling program.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled wrestling events.
- Attend all scheduled wrestling practices (3 nights a week).
Employment Terms: Community Education Classified - Part-time Temporary Contract (November- February)
FLSA Qualification: Non-Exempt

Occasional Requirements: Reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 75 pounds.
Visual Requirements: Close color peripheral depth perception ability to adjust focus.
Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information.
