The Admissions OperationsSpecialistis primarily responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Admissions teams by providing front desk support with the opening and closing of the office maintaining a presence at the front desk engaging with various populations via email phone calls and in-person as well as coordinating front desk operations.Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Operations & Strategic Initiatives the Admissions Operations Specialistis responsible forensuringseamless and impactful engagements between prospective students current students faculty and staff.
Thisroleutilizesa working knowledge of the admissions process to serve as the primary representative of admissions to campus visitors.The Admissions Operations Specialist servesasthepoint of contact for all admissions inquiries andremainsknowledgeable of all university administrative and academic areas bymaintainingcurrent key contact names information and office locations. This position requires the ability to juggle competing priorities superior communication skillshigh levelsof organization and attention to detail.Some evening hours and occasional weekend workarerequired.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the visitor/guest engagement experience through in-person phone and email contact forthe Admissionsdepartment.
Responsible for evaluating and improving the experience based on feedback and insights.
Assistin the daily administrative functions of the office including assessing implementing and managing the office supply needs andmaintainingthe physical space.
Provide primary administrative and project management support to the Admissions department andmaintainaccountability on assigned tasks (e.g.benchmarking research common app daily trackerconsolidatingrecords etc.). Manages special projects or functions related to the business of the organizational unit.
Serve askeypointof contact in coordinating new employee onboarding and orientation. This can include scheduling interviewsassistingwith HR and IT procedures and the assignment of space phone and other equipment.
Facilitateinvoicing billing and budget approval processes for senior members (director level and higher). Support new and renewal of contracts to ensure processing andexpedient approvals. Update divisional spreadsheets with key vendor information (costtimeframe points of contact).
Support schedulingandcoordinationsupport for major internal and external meetings quarterly strategy meetings and retreats.
Other duties that may be assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree preferred.
3-5years of customer service experience in higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and secure sensitive information.
Ability to work independently prioritize and manage competing taskstimelyand successfully with and without direct supervision. To lead by example foster collaboration and inspire others tohigh levelsof performance.
Strong demonstration of presentation skills and public speaking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must be organized an excellent communicator and collaborator with the ability to work well under pressure. The ability to build strong relationships with enrollment staff and constituents across campus and be a team player.
Strong written and oral communications: communicate information effectively with students faculty and other members of the Wentworth community.
Strong computer skills and able to adapt quickly tonew technologies.Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel or similar programs.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills ability to switch gears rapidly and handle many interruptions.
Professional judgement and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience withBanner andSlateTechnolutionsis preferred.
A valid drivers license ispreferred.
Position Details:
This role is an on-site/on-campus position.Some evening hours and occasional weekend work are required.

The job grade for this position is Grade 5.
The expected wage range for this position is between $58000 and $70000which reflects what wereasonably expectto pay for this role.
