Job Summary
We are now searching for a DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Development team!
Our Digital Solutions Development team belongs within PS&E Automation & Solution which is responsible for developing new Factory OS. This is our next-generation digital ecosystem built on open modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise.
You will be based in Modena Italy or Lund Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
What you will do
As our new DevOps Engineer you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems for performance and reliability.
- Lead in automating workflows using tools like Docker Kubernetes or similar.
- Develop monitoring and alerting tools enabling proactive support to customer critical infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues alongside other DevOps engineers.
- Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to grow your technical skills.
We believe you have
- You have a Bachelor/masters degree in Computer Science Digital Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- Development skills in one object-oriented language like Python C# Java Go and in scripting language like Bash/PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- Tools like Git Docker Kubernetes.
- Virtualizations platforms such as ESXi Hyper-V.
- CKA/CKAD or Azure certifications is considered as a plus.
- You are fluent in English written and spoken.
- One of the following languages is considered as a plus: Italian Swedish.
- You have good communications skills written and spoken.
- Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious.
