Job Description
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Product Specialist Environmental WA and make a positive impact on the world. This sales role is based in Perth WA. You will work with our team to deliver world-class solutions. These solutions help customers protect the environment ensure food safety and find cures for diseases.
What Youll Do:
- Lead a region to achieve quarterly and annual AOP and portfolio targets
- Plan and coordinate weekly face-to-face meetings
- Confidently and competently make sales calls even in remote locations
- Collaborate with the national product manager to run opportunities and sales
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database and knowledge of market dynamics
- Develop a sales pipeline through marketing initiatives and regular meetings
- Attend relevant conferences and trade shows
- Build strategic relationships with key customers
- Implement territory plans for account penetration
- Understand customer technical requirements and provide proficient product solutions
- Leverage customer relationships across the business
- Conduct periodic account reviews and monthly/quarterly forecasting
- Ensure Salesforce CRM compliance
- Build and complete a personal development plan
Education:
- Tertiary qualification in a scientific field
Experience
- Proven experience in sales and account management with a preference for those with a background in environmental gas or industrial markets
Knowledge Skills Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- High energy passion and a positive demeanor
- Ability to build and nurture strong customer relationships
