Job Summary
IN A NUTSHELL
Were a design-driven brand so visuals are everything. We take great pride in how our products are crafted and thoughtfulhigh-quality photography is essential to showcasing that to our customers. Were looking for a Senior Photographer to join our photography team on a 12-month fixed-term contract capturing imagery of our expanding range with absolute precision. While working alongside our talented in-house creative team to bring our products to life.
WERE LOOKING FOR
Someone who works methodically revelling in the process with an eye for finessing the details. Examples are working with overlays to match angles shaping products on set and using our archive of props to personify product internals. A single product (with multiple SKUs) can need 100 images and post-production demands care and precision from retouching leather scratches lightening fabric creases to removing loose threads and matching material colours. Details matter and getting them right is something you genuinely enjoy. While studio time and retouching with headphones on might be your happy space (and it often will be) you also enjoy collaborating with teammates and working within a wider team of videographers designers and copywriters. With your keen eye and process-driven mind youll help us bring out the art and science in our products and the brand that surrounds them.
This role offers a change from the unpredictable pace of agency or freelance work. Youll have the consistency of a fully equipped studio a thoughtful process and an awesome team to work alongside.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE
- A professional understanding of studio photography and lighting
- Proficient understanding and strong experience of Capture One
- 4 years of experience shooting e-commerce product photography
- Professional level post-production and retouching within Photoshop
- A high level of attention to detail and drive to consistently deliver high-quality work
- Ability to work methodically (and enjoy it) on a repetitive task from start to finish whilst always keeping an eye out for ways to streamline workflows with the help of AI tools
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Experience shooting lifestyle photography on location is a bonus.
LOCATION AND HOURS
Full-time role (12 months maternity leave cover) based in our Collingwood office. Were ideally looking for a full-time candidate but open to 4 days per week for the right fit.
Studio provided complete with lighting stands camera etc. The role is an approx 50-50 split between Photography and Retouching.
