This role supports the hot production line in our in-patient kitchen at Logan Health Medical Center preparing high-quality scratch-made meals in a collaborative and mission-focused setting.

Were seeking someone with solid Line Cook experience who brings strong culinary skills consistency and a commitment to quality. Our ideal candidate is reliable under pressure communicates well and values the impact great food can have in a healing environment.

What Youll Be Doing

As a key member of our production team youll help keep our kitchen running smoothly while delivering delicious nutritious meals to patients visitors and staff. Your day might include:

• Preparing hot entrées soups and sides on schedule and according to recipe dietary guidelines and patient needs

  • Adhering to International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI) guidelines

• Working the production line with speed accuracy and care

• Following HACCP sanitation and food safety procedures at all times

• Managing multiple menu items in a high-volume environment

• Assisting with inventory rotation and communicating supply needs

• Maintaining a clean safe workstation and completing daily cleaning tasks

• Contributing to a positive respectful team-oriented kitchen culture

Key Qualifications

Were looking for someone who:

• Has Line Cook or production cooking experience (healthcare or high-volume preferred)

• Demonstrates strong knife skills and comfort with commercial kitchen equipment

• Can follow recipes production sheets and verbal/written instructions

• Understandsor is eager to learn aboutspecial diets and patient nutrition

• Holds a ServSafe or food handler certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

• Stays organized detail-oriented and dependable in a fast-paced environment

• Works well independently and as part of a close-knit team

• Communicates professionally and contributes positively to the work environment

Schedule: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Weekend availability preferred.
