Job Summary

Purpose

This role is responsible for developing and executing a Development Operations (DevSecOps) strategy to ensure quality software and infrastructure deployments and overall application health security and performance.

Profile & Other Information

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution with 3 years of experience in DevOps roles.
Experience with containers and containers orchestration and deployments tools (Docker Kubernetes Helm etc.).
Knowledge of scripting and programming language (Bash Python Power shell etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and experience in managing on-prem environments.
Knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices and how they should be applicable inside a project.
Experience with collecting metrics (Prometheus) and monitoring dashboards (Grafana).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Missions

Defines and implements architectures CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) process tailored for the teams environment

Develops infrastructure to incorporate latest technology best practices and improve operational performance

Improves development deployment and testing to make it as much automated as possible

Supports teams by sharing knowledge and best practices (including clear documents for complex integration procedures)

Operates and debugs basic integration processes and environments under the guidance of a more experienced DevOps/DevSecOps Engineering
