AbbVie is seeking a Medical Advisor specializing in oncology (solid tumors) to join our Lithuania this role you will serve as the scientific and medical expert for our solid tumor portfolio contributing to AbbVies ongoing advancements in oncology and making a tangible difference in the lives of patients facing some of the most challenging cancers.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the affiliates medical/scientific expert for assigned solid tumor products
- Provide medical and scientific insight to support Medical Affairs strategies and cross-functional brand initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external experts clinical societies healthcare professionals and stakeholders within the therapeutic area.
- Collaborate effectively with the cross-functional team or within the matrix to scientifically support the development of brand planning and execution.
- Lead local cross-functional gap assessment exercise and identification of the most effective solutions to close these gaps including use of RCT RWE RWD/registries and IIS.
- Drive fit for purpose evidence generation initiatives including the development of research concepts and protocols.
- Partner with brand teams to ensure a consistent and up-to-date understanding of disease landscapes clinical practice and payer perspectives.
- Serve as a medical/scientific voice of expertise for internal and external queries related to oncology (solid tumors) therapy area in AbbVie.
- Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs engage in discussions at local and regional meetings.
- Work dynamically across multiple channelsadjusting channel choice and tailoring contentandmessages/medical discussion topics appropriately to meet evolvingcustomer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local legislation regulatory guidelines industry codes and company policies.
- Review promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver internal training and contribute to the development and updates of relevant training materials.
Qualifications :
We are seeking the following:
- Medical Degree or Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline.
- 3-5 years experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical industry ideally with oncology experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix/cross-functional environment.
- Commitment to scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Lithuanian and English.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (nationally and internationally).
- Valid driving license.

This is a hybrid (in-field & office based position) where you will be located at our Vilnius office.
