- To ensure all paperwork is completed in according with Food Safety Health and Safety and Department Policies and Procedures.
- You will be required to drive the Departments vehicle to make daily deliveries to boarding houses function areas and other such places as required.
- To assist the Head Chef and Storeman in stock-taking monitoring stock levels and ordering.
- To make up shopping baskets of commodities to deliver out or to be collected.
- To keep the stores and ancillary areas in a clean organised and tidy manner including stock rotating.
- Monitoring wastage and out of dates.
- Ensuring that the food is delivered to the standard expected.
- Ensuring that you have a very high standard of communication with the Executive Chef and Head Chef.
- To keep accurate records of goods being delivered outside of the department in order for recharging to take place and accounts made up.
- To assist in other areas of the department as required by any member of the Management Team.
- To ensure compliance with the companys policy on safer recruitment and safeguarding children and young adults at all times whilst at work.
- To ensure compliance with all Health and Safety Food Safety and company policies and to also keep up to date with training.
- To ensure that you are helpful and approachable attitude to customers and quick to respond and exceed expectations.
- To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
Qualifications :
- You must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in a food service department.
- Flexible to undertake jobs other than your own at the direction of the Executive Head Chef.
