Job Summary
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Laser Welding Specialist to join our advanced manufacturing this role you will be responsible for operating programming and maintaining laser welding systems used in the production of precision automotive components. You will play a key part in ensuring high-quality welds that meet stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up operate and monitor laser welding equipment for automotive applications.
- Interpret technical drawings and welding specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser systems.
- Optimize welding parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in laser welding within the automotive or precision manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy welding principles and material properties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
- Familiarity with robotic welding systems and automation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications in welding or laser technology preferred.
