Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Automation Engineer to join our QA this role you will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.
As a Mobile Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust automated test scripts for both iOS and Android platforms using tools such as Appium. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements perform automated and manual testing and ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines. Your role involves identifying bugs reporting defects and collaborating with developers to resolve issues while continuously enhancing the mobile testing framework to support efficient and scalable test coverage.
Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications using tools such as Appium or Detox while performing manual and functional testing to ensure high-quality releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a complex environment with multiple integration points providing guidance on quality best practices and acting as a trusted quality advocate. Troubleshoot automation issues integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Work independently to deliver robust test solutions and support the development of React Native applications using TypeScript/JavaScript.
Qualifications :
- Strong manual/functional mobile testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Proven ability to operate in complex environments with multiple systems and integration points.
- Hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Appium or Detox.
- Working knowledge of React Native and proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Ability to work independently and serve as a quality advocate within agile teams.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with API automation.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g. BrowserStack Sauce Labs).
- Understanding of accessibility and security testing principles.
