About On-Call Employment with ICF

Given the project-specific nature of our environmental work ICF often hires environmental professionals as On-Call employees. On-Call employees are scheduled for work hours as they become available (weattempt toschedule work hours a few weeks ahead of time butunforeseen project restraints and delaysdonot always allow for that) and each on-call employee is free to accept or refuse the hours assigned to them in a given week. On-Call employees maywork onconcurrent projects outside of their ICF assignment (alongastheir outside work does not create a conflict of interest with theworkthey do for ICF).

What You Will Do

• Provide oversight of biologicalauthors onvarious documents.

• Maintain close communication with projectmanagersandco-workers.

What You Must Have

• MSor greaterin Botany Biology Ecology or relatedfields.

• 15 years of experiencemanaging the preparation of large botanical and biological documents.

Additional Skills/Experience

• Experience managing or leading staff in biological or wetlandprojects.

• Able to applyfederal state and local agency guidelines toidentifyplant specimens vegetation communities and wetlandtypes.

• Strongwriting skillswith the ability toprovide guidance to other staffauthoringdocuments.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities includingthe abilitytoidentifyexisting or potential problems and recommend solutions.
