The Maintenance Engineer plays a critical role in assuring product quality through preventative maintenance of rooms/suites.

Responsibilities:
- Responds promptly and follows through on guest requests in a friendly and effective manner
- Troubleshoots and repairs basic maintenance electrical technical HVAC and plumbing needs in rooms/suites
- Conducts preventative maintenance on all guest room/suite furniture fixtures and equipment
- Inspects plumbing regularly
- Takes care of the hotels lighting needs
- Ensures all appliances are working correctly
- Complies with hotel safety prevention rules and techniques including fire safety
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED; or one to two years of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance skills including carpentry grouting painting caulking and blueprint reading
- Ability to read write and speak English
- Basic Math skills
- Basic computer skills
