Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and programCMMequipment to measure parts with precision and accuracy.
  • Inspect troubleshoot and analyze production components to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Support development implementation and maintainStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)to ensure consistency and quality throughout the department.
  • Lead and mentor the quality team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • MaintainOn-Time Delivery (OTD)by ensuring quality processes support production timelines.
  • Collaborate with process engineering production and other departments to address quality-related challenges and improve processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure tools and measurement equipment are calibrated and in optimal condition.
  • Identify and executecontinuous improvement initiativesto enhance quality standards efficiency and departmental performance.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on CMM operation quality standards and adherence to SOPs to ensure consistent quality practices.

Qualifications:

  • CMM experienceis a must including programming operation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in quality systems tools and methodologies such as ISO standards Six Sigma or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a leadership mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive quality improvements.
  • A degree in a related field is a plus but not requiredrelevant work experience will be highly valued.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in quality-related software and systems.
  • Familiarity with precision manufacturing processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
