Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and programCMMequipment to measure parts with precision and accuracy.
Inspect troubleshoot and analyze production components to ensure adherence to specifications.
Support development implementation and maintainStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)to ensure consistency and quality throughout the department.
Lead and mentor the quality team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
MaintainOn-Time Delivery (OTD)by ensuring quality processes support production timelines.
Collaborate with process engineering production and other departments to address quality-related challenges and improve processes.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues as needed.
Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Ensure tools and measurement equipment are calibrated and in optimal condition.
Identify and executecontinuous improvement initiativesto enhance quality standards efficiency and departmental performance.
Conduct training sessions for staff on CMM operation quality standards and adherence to SOPs to ensure consistent quality practices.

Qualifications:

CMM experienceis a must including programming operation and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Experience in quality systems tools and methodologies such as ISO standards Six Sigma or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a leadership mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive quality improvements.
A degree in a related field is a plus but not requiredrelevant work experience will be highly valued.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in quality-related software and systems.
Familiarity with precision manufacturing processes and tools.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
