Job Summary

The Crawfordsville Distribution Center for Penguin Random House is currently seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing organization.

In this role you will perform a combination of duties to construct install troubleshoot repair modify and maintain plant equipment and facilities. Prior experience working in facility maintenance is essential.

Proven skills relating to electrical construction with the ability to read schematics mechanical trades forklift/conveyor repair experience is a plus. Prior experience performing duties associated with Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers or other relative PLCs is desirable but not required. Additional experience with other crafts such as carpentry plumbing painting masonry and welding will contribute to a well-rounded candidate.

Candidates must have two or more years relevant experience possess basic PC skills and be physically capable of performing heavy lifting. The starting wage for this position is based on the individuals skill set typically at the minimum of $27.00 per hour. As ones skills knowledge and abilities increase so is the opportunity to elevate earnings.

The regular shift hours for this opportunity are Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This shift is also eligible for an additional 12.5% shift differential to further boost your earnings. The availability of working overtime is essential.
