Your Tasks
- Provide data consolidation analyses simulations and insights to the Marketing Controller and local marketing teams
- Support the tracking of financial performance and defined KPIs highlighting deviations from plan/forecast and providing with the marketing teams an objective viewpoint on the business situation and initiating countermeasures.
- Assist in preparing financial business cases for innovations identifying white space entry and other business opportunities and support with business cases or investment evaluations and other marketing-related processes
- Drive the assortment review process to ensure maximum possible sales are delivered through a minimum possible portfolio of products to meet consumer needs
- Prepare and analyse Category SOI (NGS-MII) as well as gap analysis YTD vs. Plan/Forecast and previous years
- Ensure data quality in BASE marketing budget tracking tool and use it as a single source of marketing budget steering
- Ensure the hygiene of the marketing budget booking including but not limited to reclassify the wrong booking and educate the demand owners
- Prepare closing activities e.g. monthly/quarterly/yearly accruals & provisions consumption & release tracking for Marketing Budgeting spends
- Prepare monthly category business reviews (Net Sales Gross Margin Sales & Margin Driver) with focus on YTD & YTG performance vs Forecast
- Support initiatives for process standardization and digitalization with regards to processes templates reports and dashboards
- Assist with all Plan/Forecast submissions required from marketing controlling unit e.g. key new product initiative (Net Sales Gross Margin Marketing Budget) relaunches marketing budget plan or any others required in the system (TM1)
Your Profile
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance business or management required
- 1 2 years of work experience ideally within an FMCG Company can also be through an internship
- Foundational understanding of Sales Marketing or Supply Chain commercial concepts is a plus
- Experience with handling and manipulating large amount of data sets
- Strategic thinking and strong data analysis ability able to read through financial trend and desire to learn how to translate data intorecommendations
- Willingness to go the extra mile ambitious winning mindset yet humble Proactive attitude & self-motivated
- Entrepreneurial spirit agile passionate about teamwork/winning together
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Organized efficient & self-motivated
- High sense of urgency & responsibility
- Strong communication skills with willingness to engage with variousstakeholders
- Good presentation skills
- Language: Fluent in English is a must .
- Experience and Knowledge in MS Office applications specially Excel & PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Power BI would be preferred
- Basic knowledge of SAP or other large ERP systems is beneficial
