Job Description
Role Overview:
The Service Technician is responsible for calibrating debugging and repairing high-end customer units received at the European repair center. This role ensures that all serviced products meet strict quality standards and are returned to customers in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify faults and performance issues in high-end units.
- Calibrate and adjust components to meet manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
- Debug hardware and software issues ensuring full functionality and reliability.
- Execute repairs and replacements using approved tools techniques and parts.
- Maintain accurate service records including test results repairs performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and repair protocols.
- Provide technical feedback to improve product design and service processes.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in repair and calibration of high-end or precision equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools schematics and test equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet turnaround times.
- Familiarity with European compliance standards is a plus.
Skills:
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in calibration tools and software.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
