What You Will Do:
Automotive Technicians diagnose the causes of a wide variety of problems with vehicles and perform necessary repairs. Automotive Technicians have a deep knowledge of the various systems within a car or truck and can reference manuals and technical drawings in order to perform repairs. Automotive Technicians are responsible for safely and efficiently operating tools keeping tools in proper working order and efficiently producing repairs that meet quality standards.
- Read interpret and understand manuals and technical drawings.
- Diagnose the cause of problems in various systems in a vehicle.
- Repair vehicles using tools. Use tools safely and perform tool care and maintenance.
