Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all low-voltage electrical engineering activities on-site ensuring compliance with project specifications codes and safety standards
- Oversee BIM-based coordination for LV systems ensuring accurate model integration and resolving clashes with other disciplines
- Review LV electrical models drawings and shop drawings; provide clear comments and guide teams to resolve design installation and interface issues
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality progress and adherence to approved design documents
- Collaborate with project managers subcontractors and other engineering disciplines to address technical challenges and support buildable cost-effective solutions
- Participate in material approvals method statement reviews and technical evaluations related to LV systems
- Ensure timely identification and resolution of site issues to maintain project schedule and quality objectives
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant LV electrical engineering experience
- Solid understanding of BIM workflows and coordination across engineering disciplines
- Strong capability to review models/drawings provide comments and resolve design issues
- Proven site-based experience with hands-on involvement in LV system installation and coordination
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; professional accreditation is an advantage
- Strong communication leadership and problem-solving skills suitable for construction environments
