Job Summary
Were hiring fluent German speakers for an exciting on-site position as a Content Moderator in our dynamic office located in Porto Portugal. This role is central to keeping our social media platform safe and positive specifically for our German-speaking community.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
As a Content Moderator your main goal will be to review user-submitted contentincluding text images and videosto ensure it strictly adheres to our community standards. You will make swift accurate decisions on whether content should be removed or escalated focusing on materials like hate speech graphic violence or misinformation. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and neutrality while reviewing sensitive content is crucial. You must be able to work effectively in a 100% on-site environment and keep up-to-date with our constantly evolving policies.
The core requirements are complete fluency in German (both written and spoken) and at least a B2 level of English for internal communication and policy understanding. While previous experience in content moderation is helpful it is not mandatory as we provide comprehensive training. All necessary work equipment will be provided by the company.
Work Schedule and Compensation
This position operates on a 24/7 rotative shift schedule meaning you must be available to work any day from Monday to Sunday including public holidays. The rotational shifts are:
- Morning: 07:00 to 16:00
- Afternoon: 14:00 to 23:00
- Night: 22:30 to 07:30
