Job Summary

Are you ready to help protect people and assets in a thriving international work environment while living in Bogotá a city full of life culture and growth We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Security Officer to join our team and ensure safety and security for our operations in the heart of Bogotá.

What youll do

Patrol assigned areas regularly and monitor premises to ensure safety of personnel property and equipment.
Manage access points: check credentials control entry/exit and verify that only authorized individuals enter secure zones.
Monitor security systems (CCTV alarms accesscontrol systems) to detect and respond to any irregular activities or incidents.
Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies safety hazards or security breaches coordinating with supervisors or authorities when required.
Document report and log any incidents irregularities or maintenance needs producing clear accurate reports and supporting followup actions.
Assist with inspection and maintenance of security hardware and systems ensuring all equipment remains operational and up to standard.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to uphold security protocols and continuously improve safety procedures.

Who were looking for

Fluent Spanish (strong spoken and written communication).
High school diploma or equivalent; ideally with prior training certification or experience in security surveillance or related field.
Minimum of two years experience in security surveillance facility protection or similar roles ideally in corporate institutional or liveoperation settings.
Familiarity with CCTV alarm systems access control technology or other security tools is an advantage.
High sense of responsibility honesty integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Good physical fitness and readiness to work rotating shifts (day/night weekends holidays) in a 24/7 operational context.
Strong awareness attention to detail situational judgement and ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
