Job Description Summary
As a Design Liaison Engineer (DLE) of the Gas Power Engineering team you will be an active contributor to the engineering support for Global Supplier Chain(GSC) and Quality improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide Supplier Deviation Request (SDR) disposition to ensure the fit form and function of the Gas Turbine Structure and Combustion components.
- Work with qualification team and support qualification activities from Design perspective including drawing/engineering clarification manufacturing process and final quality report review.
- Identify drawing and design improvement opportunities and initiate drawing/design change activities.
- Drive root cause analysis to prevent deviation reoccurrence.
- Support global supply chain activities for quality assurance and fulfillment at manufacturing sites. Capture lessons learned into a design practice.
- Promote and accelerate new technology introduction around manufacturing/suppliers to meet Engineering requirement.
- Drive cost out projects in manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a minimum 10-year industry experience.
- Skilled on UG and GD&T knowledge about mechanical drawing.
- Solid understanding of Gas Turbine components manufacturing processes of casting forging machining and fabrication.
- Strong communication skills for engineering topics discussion and disposition.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with a wide variety of teams in global locations. Fluent English (written & verbal) for working.

- You have experience with solid understanding of fundamentals of Gas Turbine components designs and fleet experience.
- You have a passion for driving continuous quality and design improvement in global environment.
