Job Description: The Finance & Accounting (F&A) Team Leader will manage and oversee daily operations within our Shared Services Centre / Finance function. This role involves supervising a team of finance professionals across Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR/O2C) and/or Record-to-Report (R2R) processes ensuring accuracy compliance and timely delivery. The Team Leader will also drive process improvements peoples development and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead supervise and mentor a team of F&A specialists ensuring daily tasks are delivered within agreed SLAs/KPIs.

Oversee end-to-end F&A operations including AP AR/O2C R2R and General Ledger activities (depending on team assignment).

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing payments collections reconciliations accruals and reporting.

Manage escalations resolve complex queries and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor and report on team performance against defined KPIs and service standards.

Ensure compliance with IFRS / local GAAP SOX audit and company policies.

Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities with accurate reporting.

Drive process improvements automation and best practices to enhance efficiency.

Partner with HR/Training to develop team skills and support career progression.

Act as deputy to the Finance Operations Manager when required.

Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Business.

Masters degree (MBA / CA / CMA) preferred.

5-7 years of F&A experience in SSC/GBS or corporate finance.

At least 23 years in a team leader/supervisory role.

Experience with multi-country multi-currency operations is an advantage.

In-depth knowledge of F&A processes (AP AR R2R GL) in a Shared Services/GBS environment.

Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Oracle NetSuite Workday or similar).

Advanced MS Excel and familiarity with BI/reporting tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership coaching and people management skills.

Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure.

Fluency in English.
