The Distribution Center Supervisor for Shaws Albuquerque Distribution Center (RDC) is a handson operational leader responsible for the full associate and customer experience in a small hightrust highownership facility. This role oversees all daily warehouse functionsincluding receiving storing order processing shipping and willcall customer pickupwhile also actively performing frontline operational tasks as needed. This leader ensures safe compliant and efficient operations maintains strong communication with customers and sales partners and drives a culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement. This role will work 6 AM -3:30 PM on weekdays.
Responsibilities:
Directup to 4associatestotal consisting oftwoClass-A CDL drivers andas many astwowarehouse/office associates.
Service Shaw customers indesignated areas of NewMexico Southern Colorado andtheEl Paso TXmarket.
Ensure a safe work environment is provided for all associates to include compliance with all DOT and OSHA requirements.
Establish andmaintaina positive working relationship with all employees in the facility. Conductregularassociatemeetings asrequired/neededto discuss safety quality and policy requirements.
Motivate associates byassistingand empowering them to achieve facility goals and implement improvement processes as needed.
Ensure effectiveutilizationofRDC assets.
Serve as the point of contact for customers Shaw sales and internal business partnersmaintainingeffective communication and issue resolution.
Monitor andmaintainhigh standardsof customer satisfactionidentifyinganyopportunitiesto enhanceservice resolve servicegaps andstrengthenrelationships.
Collaborate with delivery partners to schedule and track customer deliveries ensuring on-time service.
Document the need for and recommend disciplinary action whenwarranted.
Qualifications:
2 years of lead/supervisory experience in adistribution/warehouse School Diploma/GEDrequired.
Goodverbal and writtencommunication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
Must have good computer skills including but not limited to Excel Word and other software management systems and Point ofSaletechnologies is preferred.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Preferred:
Experience in a warehouse distribution or transportation environment especially in smaller or midsized operations.
Prior indirect or direct leadership such as Lead Shift Lead Assistant Manager Clerk III or Transportation Coordinator (TC) with exposure to lifttruck operators drivers and customerfacing roles.
Handson leadership experiencecomfortable working alongside the team rather than managing from an office.
Background in DOT Compliance issues
