Job Summary

SUMMARY:

Under limited supervision manages the Sales Center Customer Service Representatives other similar employees and their work. Develops manages and delivers support services to our sales force. Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of a team of sales center customer service representatives.

JOB DUTIES

  • FOR USE IN THE MARKET DISTRIBUTION CENTER SUPPORT ROLES ONLY
  • Plans directs supervises and evaluates work flow.
  • Provides customer support including order processing advising customers of product shortages expected delivery dates and price changes.
  • Recognizes and recommends operational improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day application of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Manages Virtual inventory for sales office including the weekly maintenance of inventory levels and cost differences.
  • Responsible for all Inventory and Expense Pcard purchase activities and reconciliation in expense software.
  • Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements.
  • May make hiring decisions and conduct performance appraisals. May have responsibility for more than one team.
  • May approve special price concessions quotes bid allowances or adjustments.
  • Assists customers and suppliers to resolve order problems.
  • Manages daily incoming freight at cross docks for deliveries. Manages DOT compliance.
  • Monitoring of Daily Management Review (DMR). Responsible for safety compliance and audit.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a bachelors degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or the equivalent combination.

  • Leadership communication relationship and people management skills required
  • Analytical and mathematic skills required
  • Financial acumen required
  • Reliability organization and attention to detail required

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: None required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: 5-10 Direct Reports
