The LSA will be expected to run phonics groups support guided reading scaffold maths activities and contribute to pupils social and emotional development. Working in Brent the LSA will be part of a committed team that values consistent adult support to help pupils make progress.
Responsibilities
- Lead small-group interventions monitor progress and adapt approaches to maximise impact.
- Support teachers by preparing resources scaffolding tasks and encouraging pupil independence.
- Assist with behaviour management and pastoral care to support pupil wellbeing throughout the school day.
- Maintain records of interventions and contribute to team discussions about next steps for pupils in Brent.
- Help supervise activities and support transitions to ensure a calm learning environment.

- Experience supporting children in schools with confidence delivering interventions and classroom support as an LSA.
- Patient organised and able to work proactively with teachers and SENCo in Brent.
- Able to start January 2026 and to attend pre-start induction and training before January 2026.
