Project Description:
Development of a recently implemented TRIRIGA Environment. The Guam Defense System (GDS) is a strategic asset in the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR) providing a vital layer of enhance missile defense against evolving threats in a contested environment. Joint Program Office (JPO) GDS faces challenges overseeing and sustaining GDS at peak operational readiness which is paramount to deterring aggression and maintaining regional stability. To address JPO GDS objectives for robust sustainment IBM will conduct a comprehensive feasibility study and completion of a sustainment strategy for the GDS.
Task Description:
The Senior Liaison / Logistics Planner will serve as a project liaison to the US Army project team in Huntsville AL. S/he will support the team to conduct assessments gather joint requirements review strategies and identify appropriate Defense solutions. This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of executive communication protocols within the Army and logistics distribution and resource management. S/he will identify capabilities to sustain the mission through comprehensive evaluations of logistical aspects of joint plans studies estimates and associated guidance. This role requires meticulous analysis to produce substantiated recommendations aligned with organizational objectives. This role will need to communicate with stakeholders from diverse cultures and backgrounds engage with cross-functional team members and is expected to be able to anticipate and navigate the strategic engagement.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 9 years of related work experience or a masters degree in a related field with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.
- Experience designing and developing joint operational logistics plans operational plans and associated policy or doctrine with a focus on strategic mobility mobilization medical readiness civil engineering and sustainment policies and procedures.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience military operational planning and demonstrated subject matter expertise.
- Proven experience in operational logistics development implementation and evaluation.
- Knowledge of joint strategic planning methodologies and techniques (e.g. Joint Qualified Officer).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with the organizations mission vision and operational structures.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles including ability to effectively communicate in verbal written and presentation formats.
- Minimum USG Secret clearance required. Must be eligible to secure a TS-SCI.
Nice to have skills:
- 3 years experience developing and writing joint logistics plans.
- Experience working with Department of War Federal or civil support planners.
- Professional Military Education or certification for joint operations.
- Department of War Joint Qualified Officer.
