Job Summary

This department includes all functions related to operating room services including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services inpatient and/or outpatient services and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU anesthesia functions pre op holding and/or central sterile functions. If your department is operating as a combined department with all surgery services combined please notify FP&A and we can map it to Surgical Services Combined Without Anesthesia to provide you with an appropriate benchmark.

Day Shift 5 x 8s; on call rotation for evenings and weekends. Certified Surgical and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: PreferredAssociates/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: PreferredScrub technician experience: PreferredOperating room experience and/or training course: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Surgery Technician certification: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Certified Surgical Technologist (CST): Required
